Dr. Sean Christie is a neurosurgeon at Nova Scotia Health and a Professor, Vice Chair and Director of Research, Division of Neurosurgery, at Dalhousie University. His research focuses on the understanding of the mechanisms of secondary injury following spinal cord injury and investigating potential treatment strategies that can be translated into clinical applications. Dr. Christie was the first neurosurgeon in Canada to utilize a surgical robot for neurosurgery.
