Dr. Stephen Beed is the Medical Director, Nova Scotia Organ and Tissue Donation Program at Nova Scotia Health. He is an innovative clinician who is dedicated to delivering empathetic evidence based clinical care to patients in the Intensive Care Units and operating rooms. In October 2020, Dr. Beed founded Melior Motus Inc, a medical device start up focused on the application of bedside experience and clinical acumen to patient care problems, particularly focused on products to enable the healthcare team to assist with the movement of patients without a risk of injury to themselves.
